Our backup support is second to none. We can offer a whole range of support options starting from low-level 24 hour telephone support and going up to high-level 24 hour on site support and system monitoring. If something does go wrong, the ABPC support team is always at hand, prepared to put in any amount of effort in order to get your systems back on track as quickly as possible and inside the time-frame of any support level agreement.
Built and tested to last
In testing, all software is thoroughly checked, aiming for 100% reliability (not the 80:20 rule for us). This results in systems that require the minimum, if any, of follow-up support. The systems that we have out in the field, some have been operating for up to 10 years, all have perfect operating records.
We take-on existing systems too
As an example of the competence and speed of
response of our support staff, we can recall the plight of a database system for
recording chemical analyses on cooling water for industrial plant.
For two years
after installation (by a third party) the system never worked. The third
party's support staff were unable or unwilling to unravel the mystery. An ABPC
Ltd consultant was contacted and within one hour the problem was resolved and
the system was working properly for the first time. Furthermore, this support job was
done remotely at a distance of 40 miles from the client's location. Naturally,
after that, ABPC Ltd was given any IT work that came the client's way.

1997 The project was the enhancement of a suite of twenty key middle office systems, in order to allow a new trade booking system to be used throughout the Bank. After thorough preparation, we were able to run an overnight, automatic conversion program which converted all 20 systems, including programming changes and data conversion. The following day, the users returned and continued working with their enhanced systems, without a single glitch. And furthermore, support hours for faults on those systems was reduced from 80 man hours per week prior to implementation to zero following implementation.
